The results of the 2012 Environmental Finance and Carbon Finance annual environmental markets survey were released today, and Evolution Markets placed as the top broker in nearly all carbon market categories.
The Environmental Finance and Carbon Finance survey is considered one of the environmental markets most respected benchmarks. The Survey is a poll of leading participants in global environmental markets, including traders, brokers, consultants, and government officials. Evolution Markets was named “Best Broker” in the following carbon market categories:
Best Broker, Spot & Futures – EU Emissions Trading Scheme
Best Broker, Options – EU Emissions Trading Scheme
Best Broker, Secondary Market – Kyoto Project Credits (JI & CDM)
Best Broker, North American Carbon Markets (California)
Best Broker, North American Carbon Markets (RGGI)
This marks the ninth year in a row Evolution Markets earned “Best Broker” honors in the EU ETS, and the seventh year running for this recognition in Kyoto Project Credits. The US carbon team also has been named the top broker for eight consecutive years.
Evolution Markets was also awarded “Best Broker” in additional global environmental markets, including weather derivatives, US emissions, and renewable energy. You can read more about the survey in our news release.
